About Size It Up
Size It Up is an independent web game about the real size of things. Each daily puzzle sets five pairs: you resize one silhouette against another, lock in your guess and see how close you came.
Who makes it
Size It Up is built and run independently, and went live at sizeitup.games on 4 September 2026. We write the daily puzzles, keep the object library, check the measurements and draw or license every silhouette. The game is free and needs no account.
Where the sizes come from
The library holds more than 1,200 objects across eleven categories, from insects and dinosaurs to landmarks, vehicles and planets. Each one has a real measurement with a linked source, such as an encyclopedia entry, a manufacturer’s specification or an official page. Country and lake outlines come from Natural Earth; US state and territory outlines come from Census Bureau cartographic boundaries.
Every silhouette is drawn for this site or used under an open licence. The credits page lists each silhouette’s author and licence and the source of every measurement; some illustrations are AI-assisted, and the credits page says which. Think a number is wrong? Tell us and we will correct it.
How the game works
Every category has a Daily: the same five pairs for everyone, new each midnight, scored out of 1,000. Unlimited deals fresh pairs with no daily cap, Past Games replays earlier days, and a challenge link sends your exact rounds to a friend. The full rules are on the how-to-play page.
Size It Up and Sizivo
Sizivo is our app for iPhone, iPad and Android. It carries the same Daily puzzles for several categories; your web progress stays in your browser. Get the app.
Ads and your data
The site is free to play and may show ads served by Google; shared result pages and challenge boards do not show ads. What the game stores, and what advertising cookies do, is explained in the privacy policy. The terms of use cover the rest.
