We respect the rights of creators. The silhouettes, measurements and text on this site are ours or used under licence, with every source listed on the credits page. If you believe something here infringes your copyright, please tell us directly. We review every complete notice and reply by email.
How to send a notice
Email hello@sizeitup.games with the subject line “Copyright notice”. A complete notice includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
- Identification of the material on this site you believe infringes it, with the exact page address, detailed enough for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
What happens next
We review the notice against the page it names. If it is complete and we agree, we remove or disable the material and tell you. If something is unclear, we ask. If the material was submitted by a player, such as a challenge nickname or feedback text, we may let them know it was removed.
Counter-notices
If material you submitted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It should include your signature; identification of the material and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the United States, any district where we may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
Before you send
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether something infringes your rights, consider seeking legal advice first.
