Size It Up Vehicles keeps every round inside the world of things that move: a bicycle against a Smart Fortwo, a Concorde against a 737, a container ship against the Titanic. The black cut-out is the reference, drawn at true scale with a ruler above it. The white one is yours — drag it, pull a corner, make it the right size beside the reference, then lock in. The true machine is drawn over your guess in red, with the real number and how far off you were.
It is the same five-round daily as the main Size It Up game, except every silhouette is a human-made machine. Each number comes from a stated model or reconstruction, with a source you can inspect. A Size It Up vehicles round measures the configuration shown: this coach is 12 m long and this 747 is 70.7 m. When you are out by a factor of three, the red outline makes the difference visible. Size It Up Vehicles is free, needs no account, and refreshes at midnight in your time zone.
Vehicles are the category where being a passenger actively misleads you. You have stood next to a 737 at a jet bridge and seen exactly one door of it. You have watched a container ship from a headland with nothing beside it for reference. You have seen Concorde in a museum, roped off, and filed it under “small supersonic thing”, when it was longer than a 737 and only nine metres shy of a 747.
Scale on water is worse still. The Titanic was the largest moving object ever built when it launched, and a routine modern container ship is half as long again. Size It Up Vehicles is where that lands: you draw the ship you know, the red outline lands well outside it, and the reveal gives the measured length. Size It Up Vehicles links each measurement to a manufacturer, museum or reference source; historic reconstructions are identified as estimates.
1.49× longer
1.56× longer
1.09× taller
The container ship is the round people get wrong most often in the Size It Up vehicles game: the Titanic is the ship everyone uses as their mental maximum, and a working box boat is 1.49 times its length. Concorde is the second — museum lighting makes it look like a fighter, and it is 1.56 times a 737. Starship is the newest trap: it stands 10 m taller than the Saturn V, the rocket most people still hold as the tallest thing ever launched.
84 Size It Up vehicles at the last build, from a skateboard (80 cm) to the Seawise Giant (458 m), largest first. Pairs in a Size It Up vehicles round are always within fifty times of each other, so a skateboard never faces a supertanker — but a skateboard against a bicycle, or a fire engine against a tram, is exactly what this mode is for. Every silhouette is either a public-domain cut-out or drawn to published dimensions in our own build scripts, and every measurement links to its source on the credits page; where a machine came in several versions — the stretched fuselage, the long-wheelbase van, the sixteen-car set — the caption names the one you are looking at in that Size It Up vehicles round.

The daily Size It Up game mixes vehicles with animals, landmarks, plants, planets and everyday objects. Size It Up Animals keeps every round inside the animal kingdom, Size It Up Geography does the same with countries, US states and lakes, and Size It Up Pop Culture takes on characters and starships.
