This pre-launch puzzle ran from a ruby-throated hummingbird (9 cm) to an African elephant (3.2 m). The widest gap was round 1, Moose against Ruby-throated Hummingbird, at 30×; the closest call was round 2, White-tailed Deer against Chimpanzee, only 1.3× apart — the kind of round that separates a 90 from a 60.
