This pre-launch puzzle ran from a ruby-throated hummingbird (9 cm) to a brachiosaurus (22 m). The widest gap was round 2, Ruby-throated Hummingbird against Emu, at 19×; the closest call was round 5, Wandering Albatross against Giant Pacific Octopus, only 1.4× apart — the kind of round that separates a 90 from a 60.
