This pre-launch puzzle ran from a house mouse (8 cm) to a giant manta ray (7 m). The widest gap was round 1, Great Hammerhead Shark against Monarch Butterfly, at 40×; the closest call was round 5, Polar Bear against Harbor Seal, only 1.4× apart — the kind of round that separates a 90 from a 60.
