This pre-launch puzzle ran from a rock pigeon (33 cm) to a humpback whale (14 m). The widest gap was round 2, Rock Pigeon against Giant Squid, at 36×; the closest call was round 4, Bottlenose Dolphin against White Rhinoceros, only 1.3× apart — the kind of round that separates a 90 from a 60.
