This pre-launch puzzle ran from a honeybee (1.3 cm) to a giant squid (12 m). The widest gap was round 2, Honeybee against House Sparrow, at 12×; the closest call was round 4, Common Raven against Greater Flamingo, only 1.1× apart — the kind of round that separates a 90 from a 60.
